Coach Billy — Children’s Book Illustration

Commissioned by the CW Network’s hit series All American, Coach Billy is a children’s book created as an on-screen prop for a pivotal episode. In the storyline, main character Olivia Baker writes and illustrates a heartfelt book for her father. Behind the scenes, I was selected to bring that fictional book to life—illustrating every page to reflect the emotional tone of the script and the essence of the characters.

Featured prominently in the episode, Coach Billy became both a narrative device and a visual keepsake within the show. As one of my proudest accomplishments, this project allowed me to merge storytelling, emotion, and character development into a piece that lives beyond the screen. It remains one of my all-time favorite illustration projects.
